Discover Cork School’s Heritage Project

The children in Sixth class are taking part in the Discover Cork school’s heritage project. Their chosen theme is:

‘Bandon, part of a county in change’.

They have researched many local buildings and people of interest to them, including The Allin Institute, Kilhassen Mass Rock, Timoleague Abbey, Castle Bernard, Henry Ford, Michael Collins and many more.

These photos show the children from Sixth class doing some field work in preparation for making their model of Kilhassen Mass Rock.
