We had a great day today in Bandon Rugby Club. We all took part in our school’s sports day. It was a so much fun from obstacle races and egg and spoon races to penalty shoot outs. We finished our very active day with a well deserved ice pop thanks to our Parents’ Association

Best of luck to the boys and girls from 5th and 6th Classes, who will play in their hurling/camogie finals on Monday, and thank you to the parents who decorated our school yard. We are looking forward to this great occasion! Well done on getting to the finals!

Active Schools Flag
Today, Scoil Bhríde hoisted our Active Flag. This flag was awarded to Scoil Bhríde as a result of our active endeavours and our commitment to keep active. Pupils heard from members of the Active Schools Committee who encouraged pupils to keep active before raising the flag. Pupils were delighted to celebrate the occasion by sporting active clothing and completing active homework.

Rang a 3 enjoyed a very active day today! Pupils participated in orienteering, showed great teamwork playing soccer and watched as the school’s Active Flag was raised.

We Are Fit4Class!
Over the last ten weeks Rang a 2 have been keeping fit by taking part in the Fit4Class challenge in partnership with Athletics Ireland and Sport Ireland. Each week we completed a series of activities designed to improve our agility, balance and co-ordination.
