Kate O’ Flynn, past pupil and Communications and Information Services Corp Officer from Collins Barracks visited as part of Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme. Kate spoke to the pupils and placed particular emphasis on the historical and cultural significance of the events of 1916. Our school was presented with the National flag and a copy of the 1916 Proclamation. Following the presentation of the National flag pupils from Rang 4-6 sang the National Anthem.
