Junior infants have been learning all about 2D shapes and sorting them based on different properties!
We were delighted to make donations to two worthy charities in school today. We raised €1,160 from our Carol singing in SuperValu and we decided to donate €580 each to The Ronald McDonald House Charity and Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. These charities both provide support for children who need to attend hospital and their families. We are very proud that we raised so much money and that it is going to such admirable charities.
The children in fourth class successfully investigated how light waves travel in straight lines.
The children in fourth class have been conducting experiments to investigate how we can produce white light by making and using a spinning colour wheel with the seven colours of the spectrum.
The boys and girls in fourth class made excellent efforts to dance really well and had lots of fun on Thursday when they had their first class with Deirdre!
Rang 2 are really enjoying Irish dancing.
