December fun in Rang 1

We’ve had lots of fun activities indoors and outdoors . Happy Christmas everyone!

After an incredible performance in the church Monday night, 3rd class enjoyed some Christmas cookies as a treat. They put their baking and decorating skills to the test with the help of Ellie. They enjoyed sampling their hard work!

Christmas in Rang 2

We have had a busy and fun December in Rang 2!

3D Shapes in Rang 2

This week we have been learning all about 3D shapes. The children have had lots of active based learning, examining and creating cubes, cuboids, a sphere, cylinders and cones.

Junior Infants Nativity

JI took to the stage for an excellent performance of ‘The Big Little Nativity’. They loved singing the songs, saying their lines and seeing there families in the audience ☺️

Movie Day

3rd class have been working really hard this term and earn themselves a class reward! We had a cosy movie day on a wet Winters day! Thanks also to 6th class for the delicious hot chocolate ☕️

Comfy Clothes Day

A big thank you to the Parent’s Association for organising today’s Comfy Clothes Day, and to 6th Class for providing the whole school with hot chocolate. It was certainly a perfect day to wrap up inside in cosy clothes and warm up with a nice hot drink.

Thank you to everybody for their support today. An amazing €364 euro was raised. Go raibh míle maith againh go léir.

Cycle Right

3rd class finished up their last week of cycling with Ruth and James. We had a ball, and can’t wait to put our new skills to the test on our bikes. Thanks again to James and Ruth for all their hard work!

Wellbeing Committee at Assembly

Today our wellbeing committee spoke to all the staff and pupils during our November assembly. They did a super job and spoke so well. Firstly they introduced themselves and then spoke about our Winter Wellbeing Choice board which will form part of our homework for Decemeber. We also explained to the pupils that our School Self Evaluation Focus is wellbeing. Finally we did the draw for the kindness awards. There was great excitement. Well done to you all. Keep up the hard work.
