Winter Houses

First Class have been learning all about Houses and Homes this week in their SESE lessons. We really loved creating our own winter homes today and making one big, long winter street!

Super symmetry!

Rang a 3 have been learning about symmetry in maths this week. Pupils enjoyed using and applying their skills at different stations during maths.

Pupils created symmetrical patterns using different shapes and coloured beads and laces.
Pupils created symmetrical designs using 2D shapes.
Pupils used pegboards to create symmetrical designs.
Pupils sorted shapes into groups based on the number of lines of symmetry. Pupils identified and drew the lines of symmetry on the various.
Pupils applied their symmetry and ICT skills when playing a game using iPads.
