Thanks very much to the trainers from Bandon Athletic Club for training us every week. We are really enjoying it and learning lots of new skills.

The boys and girls in fourth class made a super effort this morning acting out the different stories.

After looking at the artwork of the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, students used pencils and rulers to divide their paper into an abstract arrangement of shapes using horizontal and vertical lines. They used primary colours and black to paint some of the shapes. The others were left white, like Mondrian’s. They used strips of black paper to make straight clean lines once the paint dried.

Checking out the different habitats around the school grounds looking for minibeasts using pooters and a magnifying glass.
