November 2014 – Scoil Bhríde, Crossmahon

Rang a 6 led our assembly today with special prayers for remembering our faithfully departed during November. The pupils sang ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘Close to you’ beautifully.

Digital School of Distinction Award

Scoil Bhride, Crossmahon has been awarded Digital School of Distinction status for excellent use of Information Technology amongst our pupils, namely ipads and laptops. The staff of the school update the blog regularly and all classrooms use interactive whiteboards as part of teaching and learning. The Chairman of our Board of Management, Gabriel Moloney and Conor Noonan of Crannóg Computers were present for the award. The pupils were delighted to hear that they were getting a night off homework!
