We explored different materials and predicted what material would be best to use for a parachute. We reported our findings to the class.

Science Week 2019 R3 +R4 – A visit from MSD
R3 & R4 were lucky enough to have a visit from Séan and Síle from MSD in Brinny for Science Week. They spoke to us about their roles in MSD, Brinny and about career opportunities in Science. We were informed about the different strands in Science: Biology, Physics and Chemistry. We also learned what STEM stands for.
We were lucky to try out experiments Séan and Síle prepared for us. These included, making slime and lava lamps.
