3D Shapes in Rang 2
This week we have been learning all about 3D shapes. The children have had lots of active based learning, examining and creating cubes, cuboids, a sphere, cylinders and cones.
Wellbeing Committee at Assembly
Today our wellbeing committee spoke to all the staff and pupils during our November assembly. They did a super job and spoke so well. Firstly they introduced themselves and then spoke about our Winter Wellbeing Choice board which will form part of our homework for Decemeber. We also explained to the pupils that our School Self Evaluation Focus is wellbeing. Finally we did the draw for the kindness awards. There was great excitement. Well done to you all. Keep up the hard work.
Science Week 2024
Rang 2 had a busy week as scientists. They made lava lamps, investigated why we need to use soap to wash our hands and painted salt!
Shoebox Appeal 2024
Thanks to all who generously donated to the appeal this year. Your kindness is much appreciated.
Rang 2 made paper rockets.
They used a straw to fire their rockets. We discussed and investigated how to make our rockets travel faster and over a greater distance.
Spooky Kindness Awards
We had a very exciting spookyKindness Awards presentation today! Everyone was dressed up for Halloween and we had lots of winners!!!!
Halloween in Rang 2
Rang 2 have been busy decorating our classroom with lots of Halloween art. We also baked an enjoyed a Halloween tea brack!
Maths Week in Rang 2
Rang 2 were very busy this week celebrating Maths Week! We played bingo, made pictures using 2D shapes and were very creative with our Shapensteins. Lego was also used this week to make marble mazes! Great work Rang 2!
Rang 2 have been Coding
Rang 2 started coding with Scratch. They are great fun learning the basics!
