The Green Schools Committee visit a local wind turbine
Today our Green Schools Committee had the pleasure of visiting a wind turbine on Crossmahon Hill. We learned lots of information about different types of renewable energy. We also got to see how a model windmill works. This was very interesting. We all thoroughly enjoyed the visit. We will visit all classes next week and tell them about our visit.

Music composition
In four different groups we came up with a sequence of music based on a winter night scene. We used a range of percussion instruments as well as body percussion and our voice to compose the piece of music. We practised and discussed our compositions on Monday and then performed them for the rest of the groups today.
