The children from 3rd – 6th class had a very informative talk today from Angela and Hank of the RNLI.
They received some very important reminders about water safety!
The girls in third class and fourth class took part in a camogie blitz today at Bandon GAA club. They played with other girls in the area, had lots of fun and enjoyed some ice cream afterwards. A great day was had by all!
The children in fourth class had a busy morning learning about what to do in a variety of First Aid situations. They practised bandaging and more.
Fourth class were lucky enough to be invited to take part in a blitz at the rugby club in Bandon last Friday. They really enjoyed meeting and playing against other schools and enjoyed some lovely treats provided by the club afterwards.
The children in fourth class have been enjoying working on improving their tennis skills while having fun!

We have been learning about the Amazon Rainforest in fourth class. We did an experiment in class, recreating tropical rainforest conditions in jars, we are now hoping to see lots of green growth in the jars!
