Books glorious books 📚

Rang a 3 and Junior Infants enjoyed our “book meet” today. Pupils met together to share their favourite books and read stories with each other to celebrate World Book Day.

Stepping into Spring.

There’s definitely a spring in our steps as we ‘step in into spring’! We love stepping out in the morning and walking a lap or two of our yard.

A special visit from our community Garda.

Junior Infants were delighted to meet our community Garda, Francis today. Francis showed us her handcuffs, pepper spray and her baton. She taught us what to do if we ever got lost. Thank you Francis for visiting us today. 👮🏻🚔

Tasty pancake Tuesday

‘Flip a pancake, toss a pancake….catch it if you can!’
Junior Infants really enjoyed be treated to tasty pancakes 🥞 today with yummy toppings of their choice. We had so much fun tossing our pancake in the air and catching it in our pan.

Thank you Parents’ Association!!

It was like Christmas again in the Infant classrooms recently when our amazing Parents’ Association arrived with a full carload of toys to support Aistear in our classrooms!! We cannot wait to play with our new toys during Aistear. Thank you to our wonderful Parents’ Association!

Writing CVC words on our Smartboard.

We love when Mrs O Mahony asks us to practise our CVC words on the Smartboard. Our handwriting is getting so good! We can writing words all by ourselves!

January in Juniors

What a busy month he had! We had gymnastics with Kenny, and GAA with Dave. We loved working on The Clothes Shop in Aistear. We dressed up, bathed our babies, built shopping malls with Lego and Duplo. We made lovely winter birds in Art, dressed our Teddy Bears and blow painted rain drops.
