Pupils were treated to a stellar performance of Robin and The Sherwood Hoodies by 6th class earlier today! With plenty of laughs and catchy tunes, pupils were entertained from start to finish and were equally enthralled by the sets, props and costumes. Maith sibh Rang 6 👏

Active Schools Week
Rang a 2 had an extra active week and enjoyed a variety of activities such as oodles of noodles, dancing with Razzle Dazzle and the school sports day.
Parents Association Cake Sale🍰
The boys and girls had a wonderful time at the school cake sale organized by the Parents Association. There was a huge selection of tasty cakes and treats!
Presenting Projects in Rang a 2
Rang a 2 have been working very hard over the last few weeks on their first solo projects. Each pupil researched an animal and created a poster displaying facts, photos and drawings. A special thank you to the wonderful Junior infants who were a fantastic audience for the presentations with some very interesting questions!
Active Schools Flag
Today, Scoil Bhríde hoisted our Active Flag. This flag was awarded to Scoil Bhríde as a result of our active endeavours and our commitment to keep active. Pupils heard from members of the Active Schools Committee who encouraged pupils to keep active before raising the flag. Pupils were delighted to celebrate the occasion by sporting active clothing and completing active homework.

Projects in Rang a 2
Second class have been working in pairs this week to complete projects based on the counties of Ireland. We researched facts using the chromebooks and then worked together on our poster. We finished by presenting each project to the class and even gave them a quiz!
Book Club📚
Rang a 2 are really enjoying Book Club as part of our English reading. The children are each reading their own chosen novel and love sharing their book with their classmates. It’s such a treat to explore such a wide variety of books from various authors!
Seachtain na Gaeilge
We had a great week celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. We enjoyed lots of fun activities such as a visit from the Newcestown Comhaltas, artwork, games as Gaeilge, our ceolchoirm and finished off with a céilí with rang a 1!
