After an incredible performance in the church Monday night, 3rd class enjoyed some Christmas cookies as a treat. They put their baking and decorating skills to the test with the help of Ellie. They enjoyed sampling their hard work!
3rd class have been working really hard this term and earn themselves a class reward! We had a cosy movie day on a wet Winters day! Thanks also to 6th class for the delicious hot chocolate ☕️
3rd class finished up their last week of cycling with Ruth and James. We had a ball, and can’t wait to put our new skills to the test on our bikes. Thanks again to James and Ruth for all their hard work!
Today our wellbeing committee spoke to all the staff and pupils during our November assembly. They did a super job and spoke so well. Firstly they introduced themselves and then spoke about our Winter Wellbeing Choice board which will form part of our homework for Decemeber. We also explained to the pupils that our School Self Evaluation Focus is wellbeing. Finally we did the draw for the kindness awards. There was great excitement. Well done to you all. Keep up the hard work.

3rd class had a busy month in October.
We enjoyed some fun activities during Maths week.
Cycle Right has begun and we have also been busy with Rugby on Mondays.
Birthdays were celebrated and we made some delicious Báirín Breac to finish off the term!
We had a very exciting spookyKindness Awards presentation today! Everyone was dressed up for Halloween and we had lots of winners!!!!
3rd class put their problem solving skills to the test with Lifetime Lab. We really enjoyed the workshop for Maths Week 2024!
3rd class had a brilliant time running relays, long jumps and playing tug of war over the last 6 weeks. Thanks to Mr.Kelly for all the fun that was had!
We enjoyed a visit from the volunteers of West Cork Rapid Response. 3rd class had a tour of the fantastic jeeps and a very informative talk about what to do in an emergency.
