We really enjoyed the fine weather last week!
Ger Fitzgerald from The St. Patrick’s Day Committee came to
the school to show us the official certificate including Bandon
in the world record for the largest gathering of leprechauns.
Many children from the school participated in this
momentous event.
We used very watery paint and straws to create our paintings. We used the primary colours blue, red and yellow. These colours then mixed to make other colours.
Junior Infants & 6th class came together to plant
some radishes. They took great care in following
the instructions and they are very enthusiastic
about watching them grow.
Children wore green clothes last Friday, the day before
St Patrick’s Day. Each child contributed €2 towards
Ms Murphy’s trip to Uganda in July with the
‘Lámha Suas’ charity. We raised over €400.
Well done everybody!
Well done to everybody who participated in our talent competition ‘The G Factor” this week. It was a wonderful success and it showed the boundless talent of the children in Scoil Bhríde
