Today we planted watercress seeds.
1. We put our names on the pots
2. We put damp cotton wool into the pots.
3.We put some seeds on the cotton wool.
4. We put them near the window for sunlight.
5. We will water the seeds two times a week.
Watercress usually takes about 2 weeks to grow.
Well done to all the boys and girls from 4th and 5th class on their wonderful performance last week.
Scoil Bhríde celebrated Saint Brigid’s day together in the hall. Senior Infants led the assembly with prayers and Saint Brigid’s story. They also sang beautiful songs.
We learned about St. Brigid in class this week. We also made St. Brigids crosses.
In second class we have been learning about Anne Frank.
Stanley visited Anne’s house in Amsterdam and he sent us some really interesting information.
He even gave us a 3D model of the annexe where Anne and her family were in hiding for 2 years.
We also took a virtual tour online of the secret annexe.
