We recently presented €400 to Ataxia Ireland. This money will be used to take sick children on a holiday this summer. It is nice to help children who suffer from illness.
Congratulations to the children who
received the sacrament of Confirmation
on Wednesday 21st March
Children wore green clothes last Friday, the day before
St Patrick’s Day. Each child contributed €2 towards
Ms Murphy’s trip to Uganda in July with the
‘Lámha Suas’ charity. We raised over €400.
Well done everybody!
Well done to everybody who participated in our talent competition ‘The G Factor” this week. It was a wonderful success and it showed the boundless talent of the children in Scoil Bhríde
Bhaineamar an-taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge. Bhí céilí againn ar an Luan agus ar an gCéadaoin. Bhí Tráth na gCeist againn sa halla ar an Mháirt. Bhíomar ag éisteacht le seisiún ceoil traidisiúnta lá eile. Beidh ‘lá glas’ againn amárach i gcomhair Lá Naomh Pádraig.
Tháinig Rang 4 agus Rang 6 le chéile le haghaidh Tráth na gCeist.
Táimid ag baint taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge!!!!
Garda James O’Donovan visited 5th & 6th class to give a presentation on Cyber Bullying. He gave us some very interesting and useful tips on using the internet safely.
We explored the effects of just 2 cigarettes on our lungs using a plastic bottle and some cotton wool.
We were surprised at the results and agreed that we would NEVER take up this horrible habit.
