5th class thoroughly enjoyed a visit from local historian Pat Canniffe. We had a very interesting talk in our classroom about the history of our school and the cotton mills just down the hill. We then walked to see some of these local historical places.
Junior Infants led the assembly for the month of April. They showed how they have been learning all about the church and sang some songs!
The pupils of 5th class had a fantastic day at Bandon Grammar School for a rugby blitz!
We have started book club in 5th class. We were thrilled to have a guest speaker for our first meeting. Our very own author!
3rd class enjoyed planting peas as part of their work on the school garden.
Senior Infants kickstarted their morning with a very active tennis lesson. Pupils had a super time!
Junior Infants are learning all about airplanes and different forms of transport. They learnt all about Amelia Earhart and made their own airplanes out of playdoh and constructed some airplanes for art!!
First Class enjoyed the first morning back after Easter with tennis on Monday
5th class really enjoyed tennis on this very wet Monday! A nice way to ease us back in after a lovely break.
