Vive La France!

Sixth Classs are greatly improving their French. Conversation skills, vocabulary development and familiarity with French culture are all part of the French class.

Well done to all the children in sixth class who completed a basic First Aid Course. The children enjoyed learning about how to deal with injuries, how to bandage effectively and how to be a competent First Aid helper.

Novel in action

Sixth class are enjoying the novel ‘ Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry’ and here they are depicting their favourite scenes in groups.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit

Well done to all the sixth class who have taken time to research a charity/charity worker of their choice. As we prepare for our Confirmation Day on the 19th March we reflect on the people who have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to do good work and help those in need. The children presented their findings to their class.

Special visitor to Third Class

Third Class had a special visitor this week. Seán Pierce, a former army sergeant, came to speak to the class about life long ago, as a young boy and as a soldier. We listened to stories about World War Two. We looked at photographs and other items from the past. We were delighted to have such an interesting History lesson.
