School Tour- amazing!!!!!

Rang a 3’s trip to Cork City Gaol

Rang a 3 visited Cork City Gaol on the next stop of their tour. We learned how the prison operated, what petty crimes the inmates committed, the food that was distributed and about some prisoners that made a daring escape! We walked through the grounds and saw the solitary confinement wing, the debtors jail, the prison hospital and the exercise yard! We ended our fantastic day with a sing-song which certainly shortened the journey home!

Rang a 3 are “up the walls” at Awesome Walls!

Rang a 3 had an AWESOME experience wall climbing this morning on the first stop of their school tour! We certainly worked up an appetite!

Senior Infants enjoyed a minibeast hunt.

Senior Infants went exploring and discovered lots of little creatures around our school! They found spiders, slugs, worms, bees, snails and lots more!

6th Class in Oysterhaven

6th class had a brilliant school tour today in Oysterhaven! They enjoyed getting muddy and some sea activities.

‘Best day ever!!!!’ in The West Cork Secret.

First Class had a brilliant day on tour in the West Cork Secret. Thank you Daniel and Fionn for doing SO many great games with us all topped off with YUMMY stoned baked cheese pizzas and juice.

We learned alot about organic gardening and biodiversity today. We had great fun identifying some native irish trees. We look forward to seeing Jessica again in Autumn to harvest our vegetables!
