Gardening with Jessica 🪴
Rang a 3 had a great time gardening with Jessica today. Pupils examined the soil to see the microorganisms present and spread seaweed to add extra nutrients to the soil for when we start planting in a few weeks.
Partner Yoga In Fourth Class
Partner yoga with Trish and Sarah is always so much fun. The boys and girls really enjoyed the challenge of coordinating the postures with one another. There was lots of laughter and the children learned how it is really important to listen to your partner!
World Book Day Shared Reading Fun
Fourth Class and Senior Infants had such a lovely time sharing their favourite books with one another. They read to one another, discussed the texts and pictures, got to know one another and celebrated World Book Day together!
Lifetime Lab Primary Science Workshop
Fourth Class visted the Lifetime Lab recently and had a fantastic time! They enjoyed learning all about circuits and batteries; building test circuits for conductors and insulators of electricity. They engineered floor sweeping robots and buzz games and even tested whether or not one boy could conduct electricity!
Great fun at Rugby in 5th

An energetic start to our Friday morning
Rang a 3 had a super morning yoga session today! We tried different acro yoga balances and poses with a partner and had lots of fun!
Books glorious books 📚
Rang a 3 and Junior Infants enjoyed our “book meet” today. Pupils met together to share their favourite books and read stories with each other to celebrate World Book Day.
World Book Day 📚
We had a great day celebrating World Book Day. We talked about our favourite books, created art pieces inspired by some recent reads and enjoyed paired reading with the boys and girls in Rang a 6.

We did lots of fun activities to mark world book day . We designed book covers for Art and on our chromebooks. We did book reviews of our favourite books and enjoyed paired reading with 5th class !
